May 2024: Our proposal for a Dagstuhl seminar on space cybersecurity has been accepted. Together with Gregory Falco (Cornell University), Daniel Fischer (European Space Agency), and Jill Slay (University of South Australia), we will organize the first space cybersecurity Dagstuhl seminar in March 2025.

April 2024: Our paper on the Feasibility of Inter-Satellite Friendly Jamming was accepted at ESA’s 2024 Security for Space Systems conference.

February 2024:

  1. Our SoK paper on security of Programmable Logic Controllers got accepted in USENIX Security Symposium 2024.
  2. Our paper on Application Sandboxing for Space Missions got accepted at NDSS SpaceSec Workshop.

November 2023: Our joint proposal for a cyber-security test system satellite won the German Space Agency (DLR) competition (between over 85 different proposals). The satellite launch cost will be covered by the DLR. Our group will develop the cyber-security payload of this satellite.

May 2023: Our paper on security analysis of in-orbit satellites firmware received Distinguished Paper Award at IEEE Security and Privacy 2023.

March 2023: Our paper on security analysis of in-orbit satellites firmware was accepted at IEEE Security and Privacy 2023.

February 2023: We have multiple open positions for PhD/Postdocs.
